Cancellation policy

How to cancel, what happens when you do, and how to take your data with you.

How to cancel

Sign in, open Billing, and choose Cancel subscription. You will be asked why — answering helps us, but it is optional — and offered a downgrade or a pause in case one of those suits you better. Confirm, and it is done.

You do not need to email us, call us, or speak to anyone. If the button is not working for you, that is a bug: tell billing@supportcentral.in and we will cancel it for you the same day.

What happens next

  • Your recurring payment mandate is cancelled immediately — you will not be charged again.
  • You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • After that the account becomes read-only: sign in, read, search and export everything; no new records, no edits, and inbound email, chat and API writes are politely refused.
  • 90 days later the data is deleted permanently. We email warnings at 30, 60 and 83 days first.

Take your data with you

Before or after cancelling, use Export my data in the admin area. You get one archive containing a CSV for every record type, your attachments with their original filenames, and your knowledge base as readable files. It works in every account state, including read-only, and there is no charge for it.

Deleting the account immediately

If you want everything gone now rather than in 90 days, the account owner can do that from Admin → Danger zone. You type the organisation name to confirm, and there is a seven-day window to undo it before the deletion becomes permanent.

What happens to your users and your help centre

When the paid period ends, your public help centre stops accepting new requests and shows a short notice rather than a broken page, so anyone with the link is not left confused. Existing tickets stay readable to your team. Inbound email to a connected mailbox is left in the mailbox rather than silently discarded, so nothing is lost while you decide what to do next.

Changing your mind

If you cancel and then decide otherwise before the paid period ends, resubscribing restores everything exactly as it was — no data migration, no setup again, and no penalty for having changed your mind.

Pausing instead

Paid plans can be paused for up to two months in a year. The account goes read-only and nothing is charged while it is paused. This suits seasonal businesses and project teams better than cancelling and starting again.
